CHRISTMAS SAMPLE ITINERARY
DAY 1: DEPATURE FOR MOMBASA
Olanka representative to pick you early in the morning at agreed destination for transfer to Nairobi, Syokimau SGR terminal to arrive in time for security check and print travel tickets. Upon arrival At Mombasa, Mariakani SGR terminal you’ll be picked by Olanka Safaris representative who will transfer you to your hotel. Check in at hotel, Enjoy hotel facility. Have an evening beach walk, relax at the coastal beach by enjoying the sandy beach particles massage your feet while the sun set kisses your cheeks. Overnight and dinner at hotel.
DAY 2: MOMBASA CITY TOUR/ CHRISTMAS EVE
After breakfast take the advantage of the hotel facility before leaving for a Mombasa city tour crossing Nyali bridge while you take in the breathtaking views of the Indian ocean as you enter the heat of Mombasa. The First stop over will be at the famous Pembe za Ndovu sculpture in Mombasa town which are located along Moi avenue opposite Uhuru gardens, here you’ll have an opportunity to snap photos and learn something about the unique elephant tusks landmark.
Then you head to fort Jesus an historic site which was built in the 16th century by the Portuguese. Afterwards have a leisure stroll at neighboring Old town which comprises of marvel architectural historic buildings where African, Arabs, Asians, Portuguese coexist in harmony. After the walking tour visit the butterfly eco-facility, next to Fort Jesus. Here, you’ll experience the beauty and calmness of nature as butterflies flutter and roam the environment freely. Dinner, Christmas eve party and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 3: CHRISTMAS DAY
After breakfast get to enjoy the hotel entertainment through out the day. After lunch time have a boat ride to the deep sea where you’ll get to see dolphins, also you can swim along with them. Afterwards return back to the hotel when the sun sets down for the Christmas evening celebrations and entertainment at the hotel.
DAY 4: BOXING DAY
After breakfast leave for Haller park which is located in Bamburi and get to enjoy your day in the park by getting to know the history of the park, the types of animals in the park and also get a chance to feed the giraffes. Later on, in the day head back to the hotel just in time for lunch. Spend the rest of the day enjoying the hotel facility or at the beach. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 5: DEPERT FOR NAIROBI
After having an early breakfast check out at hotel. Depart to the Mombasa SGR terminal to pass security check and print ticket on time as you await to board your train back home.
