Itinerary

Day 1

Route Plan:

Leave for Naivasha and pass through the Mai Mahiu route.

Activities.

1. Visit Longonot National Park

Highlights:

~ Hiking the mountain to the first peak where we are able to view the crater.
~ Photo shoot of the team
~ Any child above 7 years can do this easily, its just climbing a hill, not as tiring as getting to the summit.
NB: We won’t be getting to the summit . Experience has it that it is a long, treacherous and physically demanding task which will require a full day’s hike.

2. Continue with our journey to Naivasha and check in at Lake View Hotel.

– LV Hotel is a decent, quiet place within Naivasha town close to Buffalo Mall with very affordable pricing for bed & breakfast.

3. After check In and relaxing, we will head over to Lake Naivasha shores to relax the afternoon away and play some sports.

– Group boat rides are available

After a heavy buffet breakfast??

NB: Don’t overeat, may cause problems when riding the bike later. 🙂

Activities

1. The Team heads over to Hell’s Gate National Park
– Once at the Park, we will view the place. When heading over to Rangers Post, we shall enjoy company of wildlife such as Buffaloes, Giraffes, Baboons, zebras etc which line up the road to Rangers Post.
Upon arrival at the Rangers Post and the weather conditions are suitable, the team shall proceed to “Devils Bedroom” (optional)

2. After Devils Bedroom, we will head straight to Olkaria Geothermal Spa less than 3KMs away for a warm dip and relaxing. Carry your swimming costumes

* Food and drinks are available here too.

At about 4 PM, we will leave Olkaria headed straight to Nairobi via the Kinungi Route. Hopefully by 6 PM everyone would have safely arrived home.

Pricing Ksh 10,000 per Head  locals 280$ for non Locals

all the below cost will be catered for including transport in A tour Van

1. KWS Park Entry Fees for Longonot & Hell’s Gate Park – 300 per adult
– Children above 7 years Ksh. 150/- & Children below 7 years – Free

2. Accommodation at LV Hotel inclusive Bed & buffet Breakfast for 2 adults – 3800 and 1 single adult- 2800 bob with/without minor.

* We are working on getting a group discount on this

* Hiring a bike for the whole day – 500 (optional)

* Olkaria Spa – Ksh. 300/- per adult & 150/- for kids above 7 years

* Hiring a boat (max 8 passengers) per hour – 1500 bob(optional )
