6days Amboseli National Park ,When you think of Africa, you’re probably thinking of Kenya. It’s epic land forms, vast Savannah’s peppered with immense herds of wildlife, it’s Great Rift Valley that once threatened to tear the continent apart and it’s acacia silhouetted against a horizon stretching into eternity. And Kenya is the perfect place to answer Africa’s call of the wild. You will start in Nairobi, then proceed to two nights in Amboseli, Kenya’s second most popular park after Masai Mara with a signature attraction being large herds of Elephants against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will then have one night in Lake Naivasha, the only freshwater rift valley lake and finally two nights in Masai Mara, an iconic East African landscape that’s home to some of the highest concentrations of wildlife on the planet.

Itinerary

DAY 1: Nairobi – Amboseli
Arrive in Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi, where you’ll be met by our representative. You’ll then be briefed on the journey ahead. Afterwards you’ll drive (approximately 233km; 4-5 hours) to reach Amboseli National Park. Check in to lodge and have lunch. You’ll then embark on your first thrilling game drive in this popular park and the best place in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. A big part of the appeal is the setting- Africa’s highest mountain; the snowcapped Mt Kilimanjaro forms the backdrop for seemingly every picture you’ll take (visible on a clear day). Wildlife include lions, leopard, elephants, buffalo, ostriches, spotted hyenas, wildebeest, zebras, wild dogs (rare), giraffes, crocodiles, hyrax, lesser kudu among others and variety of birdlife such as pelicans and Egyptian geese.
Overnight: Kibo Safari Camp

DAY 2: Full Day Amboseli

Rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit with packed lunch provided, and an optional visit to a Masai village can be planned after breakfast.
