It’s epic land forms, vast Savannah’s peppered with immense herds of wildlife, it’s Great Rift Valley that once threatened to tear the continent apart and it’s acacia silhouetted against a horizon stretching into eternity. And Kenya is the perfect place to answer Africa’s call of the wild. You will start in Nairobi, then proceed to two nights in Amboseli, Kenya’s second most popular park after Masai Mara with a signature attraction being large herds of Elephants against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will then have one night in Lake Naivasha, the only freshwater rift valley lake and finally two nights in Masai Mara, an iconic East African landscape that’s home to some of the highest concentrations of wildlife on the planet.

Itinerary
DAY 1: Nairobi – Amboseli
Arrive in Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi, where you’ll be met by our representative. You’ll then be briefed on the journey ahead. Afterwards you’ll drive (approximately 233km; 4-5 hours) to reach Amboseli National Park. Check in to lodge and have lunch. You’ll then embark on your first thrilling game drive in this popular park and the best place in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. A big part of the appeal is the setting- Africa’s highest mountain; the snowcapped Mt Kilimanjaro forms the backdrop for seemingly every picture you’ll take (visible on a clear day). Wildlife include lions, leopard, elephants, buffalo, ostriches, spotted hyenas, wildebeest, zebras, wild dogs (rare), giraffes, crocodiles, hyrax, lesser kudu among others and variety of birdlife such as pelicans and Egyptian geese.

DAY 2: Full Day Amboseli
Rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit with packed lunch provided, and an optional visit to a Masai village can be planned after breakfast. A visit reveals the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. More wildlife to see such as impalas, gazelles, hippos, baboons, and reedbucks.

DAY 3 : Amboseli – Lake Naivasha
Early morning breakfast. You’ll then drive (approximately 310km; 5-6 hours) to reach Lake Naivasha, the second largest freshwater lake in Kenya and the only freshwater rift valley lake. Check in to lodge, have lunch and then take a boat ride to Crescent Island Sanctuary, one of the few places in the Rift Valley where you can walk close to giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, impalas and countless bird species.

DAY 4 : Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara
Early morning breakfast. You’ll then drive (approximately 267km; 5-6 hours) to reach Masai Mara, Kenya’s most famous national reserve and a prime tourist destination, located in southwestern Kenya along the Tanzanian border. Check in to lodge, have lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive. Masai Mara is one of East Africa’s top safari destinations. The Mara reserve incorporates 1510 km² of incredible, wide-open landscapes and fertile riverine woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek rivers in Kenya. One glimpse is enough to explain its appeal; it is typical open savannah, with a mass of amazing wildlife. Returning from your first foray into Masai Mara you will have dinner and relax under the stars, falling asleep to the sounds of the bush.

DAY 5 : Full Day Masai Mara
Our morning and afternoon game drives take us in search of Africa’s Big Five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve. On clear days, the Mara offers fantastic orange tinged sunset’s well-worth capturing on camera. Wherever you go in the vast Masai Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, hartebeests, wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos are also found in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot, but reasonably common.

DAY 6 : Masai Mara – Nairobi
After breakfast, you’ll drive (approximately 280km; 5-6 hours) to reach Nairobi. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your home-bound flight.
