Moshi is a town in northern Tanzania, near the Kenyan border. It’s known as a gateway to Kilimanjaro National Park, home to Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. Trails run up the mountain’s cloud-ringed, snow-capped dome, through alpine forests and meadows home to elephants and leopards. One of Tanzania’s major coffee-producing hubs, Moshi is known for its coffee farms and auctions.

Day 2 of 16 Day Kilimanjaro Serengeti Lake Victoria and Zanzibar

Materuni Waterfalls (Marangu Waterfalls)

Early breakfast then drive 14km from Moshi will reach Materuni Waterfalls. This is an attractive waterfall in Marangu area with the water fall height of about 70m. The walk itself is extremely interesting, as you will see some smaller waterfalls and lots of waterways which are part of the irrigation system of the local farmers who grow coffee, bananas and many other fruits plants and vegetables.
At the waterfall, you can even refresh in the cool and crystal clear water – don’t forget to bring your swimwear! Here you will also break for lunch before doing a short tour of Materuni village to see the typical life of the Chagga tribe and visiting plantation farm where you a chance to make most delicious coffee. On the way if you like can stop at local bar where you can taste home brewed banana beer and banana wine and chat with locals. Later drive to Arusha national Park for dinner and overnight at the Campsite.

Day 3

Walking safaris at Arusha National Parks

Breakfast then start Walking safaris at Arusha National Parks accompanied with an army ranger you will walk for 4hrs, with your lunch picnic packed enjoy game view around Momela Lakes and Ngurdoto crater. Despite the small size of the park, common animals include giraffe, buffalo, zebra, warthog, the black-and-white colobus monkey, the blue monkey, flamingos and more. African elephants and leopards are present, but rarely seen. There are no lions in the park. Birdlife in the forest is prolific, with many forest species more easily seen here Dinner and overnight at Campsite
Option: Game drive in our car can be arranged for 2hrs following the shorelines of small Momella Lake. View buffaloes, bushbuck, giraffes, hippos and many water birds living in and close to the water late afternoon drive to Lake Manyara where you will stay overnight at Holiday Fig Resort.

Day 4

Lake Eyasi And Ngorongoro Crater

Morning drive to Lake Eyasi. Lake Eyasi is a soda lake located at the southwest corner of Ngorongoro Crater in the conservation area highlands. The lake is around 1050 km2 (400 square miles) and is 1040 m (3400 feet) above sea level. Dinner and overnight at the Eyasi public campsite with bush men’s.

Day 5

Lake Eyasi the breeding site of flamingo birds

After breakfast walk through the scattered bush to the Bushmen’s bush-home accompanied by your guide and a local guide who can speak the Bushmen’s language. These Bushmen are of Hadzabe tribe and are living in groups divided in approx. 10 families, they like visitors. You will experience their bush life as they have unique style of hunting as they eat game meat, rodents, insects, roots and leaves. They sleep in caves, shades fearing not of any wild animals, later you will walking around the Lake Eyasi the breeding site of flamingo birds. Your guide will explain to you well on how the flamingos can produce their own food. Late afternoon drive to Karatu for overnight at Kudu Camp site.

Day 6

Ngorongoro Crater

Morning after breakfast with lunch picnic drive 2000ft down the crater, tracking animals with picnic lunch. Also referred to as “the eighth wonder of the world” and stretching across some 8,300 sq km, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in northern Tanzania boasts a blend of landscapes, wildlife, people and archaeology that is unsurpassed in Africa. The volcanoes, grasslands, waterfalls and mountain forests are home to an abundance of animals and to the Maasai later transfer to Holiday Fig Resort for dinner and overnight.

Day 7

Lake Natron

After breakfast with lunch packed proceed to Lake Natron, home of millions of lesser flamingos. Lunch will be on the way, Arrival and visit Maasai People in this place you will a chance to meet and see, the maasai coming out of their traditional houses. Later transfer to the Camp for dinner waiting for climb the “Maasai mountain of God” (Oldoinyo Lengai an activr Mountain. The climb normally takes 5 to 6 hours along steep slopes which are practically bereft of shade and the descent (which can be very tough on knees and ankles) takes about 2 hours. At mid night start climbing to reach the crater rim in the for sunset and descend before the intense mid-day meet your driver and transfer to the Camp for breakfast.

Day 8

Mountain Oldonyo Lengai

Full day visit and walk around Lake Natron to Munge waterfalls with optional swimming. The lake is quite shallow, less than three meters (10 feet) deep, and varies in width depending on its water level. Lake Natron is a fascinating, almost surreal location. Due to salt-loving microorganisms that live in the alkali salt crust of the lake’s surface, the lake is often red or pink in color. The lake is also the only breeding site for 2.5 million Lesser Flamingoes, because the caustic environment is a barrier against predators trying to reach the flamingoes’ nests. The color of the lake is characteristic of those where very high evaporation rates occur. Camping at the base of the mountain Oldonyo Lengai.

Day 9

Serengeti

Proceed to Serengeti and have a game on the way to Ikoma Safari Campsite.

The Serengeti National Park is a Tanzanian national park in the Serengeti ecosystem in the Mara and Simiyu regions. It is famous for its annual migration of over 1.5 million white-bearded (or brindled) wildebeest and 250,000 zebra and for its numerous Nile crocodile and honey badger.

Day 10

Full day game viewing in Serengeti National Park

Full day game viewing in Serengeti National Park, back to camp for short rest optional night game viewing can be arranged and pay direct for those who have interested. Dinner and overnight at Ikoma Safari Campsite.

Day 13

Mwanza – Zanzibar

Today will transfer to Airport connect flight to Kilimanjaro/ Dar es Salaam where you will arrival and connected to another flight to Zanzibar, arrival and meet our staff and transfer to Tembo Hotel for overnight. BB

Zanzibar Island is a jewel in the ocean, surrounded by beaches that rate among the finest in the world. Here you can swim, snorkel or just lounge the hours away, while shoals of luminous fish graze over nearby coral gardens and pods of dolphins frolic offshore.

Day 14

Stone Town – Nungwi Beach

Breakfast then Stone Town tour, spice tour, Jozani Forest then transfer to Nungwi, overnight at Nungwi Inn.

The aquarium on the north coast of Nungwi near the lighthouse, rears small turtles found on the beach until they are large enough and then released to survive in the sea. The aquarium is a natural pond with seawater that seeps through the cliff at high tide.

Nungwi Beach

Full day relax and enjoy at the Beach, overnight at Nungwi Inn.
Option: You can organize Nungwi Village Cultural tour with the hotel and pay direct, activities like Snorkelling, Deep Sea Fishing, Sunset cruises and Diving.
